Twenty-seven organizations oppose ABX2-3

Twenty-seven organizations sent a letter to Chair Petrie-Norris and Committee members on September 25, 2024 opposing ABX2-3 because it would weaken standards that protect Californians from air pollution and climate change. Three reasons why the undersigned organizations OPPOSE the bill:

1. Exempting Oil Companies Would Render California’s Greenhouse Gas Cap Ineffective
2. Waiving Fuel Standards Could Undermine Health
3. Weakening Volatility (RVP) Requirements Would Increase Smog
